KESSHO

Some collectors want a blade that outperforms everything else in the drawer, one steel that stands above the rest of the collection. Hikari earns that place.

The core is ZDP-189, a Japanese powder steel and one of the hardest production steels used in cutlery today, hardened to 65-67 HRC. A satin-polished outer layer wraps around it, protecting the edge and keeping the blade light and responsive in the hand. The payoff shows up at the board: an edge that holds its sharpness far longer than anything else in the range.

Stabilised desert ironwood and a white bull horn bolster complete the handle, materials chosen for how they age over years of use, not just how they look on day one.

Hikari is for the collector who wants the rarest steel and knows how to care for it. Hand wash only, and sharpen with a proper technique to keep the edge at its best.
