THE RANGE, EXPLAINED
A new home deserves a knife worthy of it, and a milestone gift deserves the same. Supreme is Kurozhen's top tier range, built for the cook who wants a knife that looks the part on any counter and holds up to a lifetime in the kitchen without ever asking for much back.
The core is 14Cr14MoVNb, a powder-metallurgy steel from the same family prized in Japan's finest kitchen knives. Its structure is finer and more even than a forged blade allows, so the edge holds long after ordinary knives need resharpening. Folded into 73 layers of Damascus, the pattern is drawn out with acid-etching, giving each blade a look as considered as its performance.
The Western-style handle, olive wood set with copper rivets, gives Supreme a premium, substantial feel in the hand. It suits any kitchen, from the everyday cook to the one who entertains often, and looks as good gifted as it does used.
Supreme extends into a complete collection: a honing rod, kitchen scissors, a steak knife set, and a solid block to hold it all. Together they make a set fit for a new homeowner or a wedding gift, one that says as much about the giver as it does about the kitchen it enters.
Hand wash, hone regularly, and Supreme holds its edge and its presence for years of daily use.
